This is a hand woven coffin made from natural English willow.
There are two shapes. The traditional shape follows the familiar coffin outline, while the teardrop is a gentle curve with no hard shoulders at all, which many families find softer and more natural looking.
Because the willow is woven by hand, the texture varies across every coffin and no two are the same. The colour is the natural colour of the willow rather than a stain or a polish.
Willow is a fast growing crop and the coffins are fully biodegradable, so this is a genuine choice for families who want something natural. English willow in particular means the material is grown in this country.
